Let yourself be whisked away on a journey to special places on the University of Graz campus. The campus tours staged by Graz theatre makers Nora Winkler and Alexander Benke provide entertaining insights into the unknown and interesting facts about the Botanical Garden and the IDea_Lab.
When: 23 May 2025 at 6 p.m., 7.30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Where? Starting either from the Botanical Garden (Schubertstraße 59, 8010 Graz) or the IDea_Lab (Leechgasse 34, 8010 Graz)

Fancy a little construction site romance? A look behind the scenes of the spectacular construction sites around the Graz Centre of Physics and the House of Education Sciences is a must.

Up close and personal: learn more about the issues currently being worked on from top researchers at the University of Graz on a one-hour tour of the University Library and gain an insight into the world of science.
When: 23 May 2025 at 6 pm and 8 pm. 3 scientists will speak on each course.

Workshop Open Lab Graz
In the Open Laboratory Graz you have the opportunity to get a taste of a molecular biology laboratory. Here you can familiarise yourself with the tools and methods that are widely used in modern research. The Open Laboratory Graz is a science communication centre that places great emphasis on hands-on experiences. You have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the world of molecular biology either at various stations or in guided workshops. Trying out, participating and touching are expressly encouraged.
When: 23 May 2025 at 18:00. duration: 90 min / from 10 years of age

Guided tour of the UniGraz@Museum
Through the permanent exhibition "From the observation of nature to nanophysics" & sneak peek into the special exhibition "Experience democracy"
Experience selected stations of our permanent and special exhibition in 45 minutes. From the principle of angular momentum and wave phenomena to the test of strength on the Magdeburg hemispheres, visitors can experience physics at first hand. They will gain insights into the special exhibition and the question of our political say. We'll take a look at the history of democracy and cover everything up to current election programmes.

Guided tour of the Hans Gross Crime Museum
The Graz lawyer and examining magistrate Hans Gross (1847-1915) is considered one of the most important pioneers of scientific criminology and criminalistics. In the Crime Museum founded by him and now named after him, you can expect many corpora delicti and exciting criminal cases from around 1900 in addition to the famous crime scene case.
