What positive vibes do you personally associate with the University of Graz?
For me, the entire University of Graz campus radiates good vibes and a lively atmosphere. Every time I visit Graz, I’m inspired by the motivated young people studying here. I’m delighted that, through our architecture, we’re able to play our part in this positive dynamic.
Why is studying at the University of Graz definitely worthwhile?
In my role, I naturally have to mention the architectural heritage on campus. The campus boasts a wonderful variety of impressive historic buildings – after all, the University of Graz, founded in 1585, is the second-oldest university in the country – alongside modern architecture. Such an environment is inspiring – and complements the excellent research and teaching on offer.
What impresses you about the University of Graz?
I’m impressed by the zest for life and positive energy that prevail here and which the students spread far beyond the campus. The University of Graz has – after the University of Vienna – the most students in Austria. 30,000 students… that brings the whole city to life, and we get to experience that every year at Uni Vibes.
