Uni Vibes
The festival that transcends borders
To university, get set, go!
An extraordinary artistic programme awaits visitors to ‘Uni Vibes’ on 23 May 2025 from 6 pm on the campus of the University of Graz. Experience the campus in a new light. In any weather and free admission!
There's something going on at the University of Graz campus on 23 May. Where students usually make a pilgrimage from lecture to seminar or relax in the cool shade of the numerous trees, ‘Uni Vibes - the festival that transcends borders’ combines artistic performances with academic lectures and exciting guided tours. And the inner courtyard of the main building is transformed into the most beautiful open-air dancefloor in the city. In the Botanical Garden and the IDea_Lab, Graz-based theatre makers Nora Winkler and Alexander Benke will create two performative guided tours. The gates of the two large construction sites of the Graz Centre of Physics and the House of Educational Sciences will open and provide insights into the future of the University of Graz. In short presentations, scientists will explain where they are pushing the boundaries in their work. And research can be experienced up close in the Open Lab. On campus, the brass band ‘Red Line Crossers’ will create a great atmosphere, performance artist Lucas de Man will explore ‘democracy fitness’ in workshops, while the artists of the company ‘Le Doux Supplice’ will delight visitors with a spectacular circus performance. And at 21:30, the Graz band ‘Candlelight Ficus Extended’ will rock the inner courtyard.
